This was the first time since 2005 that Brandon and I weren’t at with a booth for , so we were excited to go as shoppers! As I had mentioned though, the weekend was very wet and rainy. We went early on the second day and many of the vendors had already packed up and gone home (I heard a lot of tent mishap horror stories). Still, most of the people were there and it was fun to walk around in the rain, talking to our crafty friends and doing some shopping.
Now let me preface this next bit by saying that I am a girl that loves hats and fascinators. Brandon is usually perplexed by my wearing of them because I wear them any ol’ day. He says I like to be “fancy” (which is said with a mincing motion and air quotes). Thanks, sweetie.
So anyway, my favorite seller at The Fair? .
I bought the and a little fascinator, but had I seen the I surely would have snapped that up as well. In fact, I encourage someone out there to buy it so that I won’t be tempted.
I’m already hoping to see at more of Chicago’s crafty events because I can’t wait to see everything in person again. Swoon.
