Me Remote Control I bought a for my camera so that I could take self-portraits. Or as Brandon put it, I’ve invested $30 in the ongoing self-absorption project that is my narcissism. Reply Sarafina September 26, 2008 at 9:55 pm I’m so glad to see a photo of someone sitting in the egg chair. I love that chair so much, but it’s hard to get a good idea of the size of it without an actual human sitting on it for scale. I -love- your dress! Reply Jules September 26, 2008 at 10:33 pm Cute picture! And I was wondering if you had a remote control, mainly because if I asked the Mister to take a picture of me like that he would be on the floor laughing and I would be flipping him a delicate bird. Reply Benita September 27, 2008 at 12:21 am Very cute :) Reply Cathe September 27, 2008 at 12:51 am Awww, I like the self-portrait! Reply Daisy Steiner September 27, 2008 at 4:59 am Nice shot. Reply All Thngs Lovely September 28, 2008 at 6:10 am That is the cutest little picture. And gosh, some people are hard to please! I’m loving some of the new features you’ve introduced! Reply unsubscribing September 28, 2008 at 7:32 am Coming back to apologize for my unnecessary and bitchy comment. I’ve gotten lots of great ideas from your blog, and the fact that it no longer meets my needs is my problem, not yours. Keep on keepin’ on! Reply Chicaholic September 28, 2008 at 2:12 pm That is quite a unique backyard chair! It looks very comfortable and I would love one of my own…where did you get that? thanks! Chicaholic Reply Jenny September 28, 2008 at 11:08 pm Love the chair and the pic is great…Good investment. Reply Goody September 29, 2008 at 12:21 am i love that lil thing..gotta find one for my brand of camera.. and you look extra cute and giddy sittin in your egg chair! Reply nikkirose September 29, 2008 at 10:57 am Yesterday morning I was watching my new Sex & The City dvd while sipping coffee and hoping to find the motivation to brave a weekend trip to IKEA. And what did I spot? Carrie in Mexico in an egg chair! I didn’t notice it the first time I saw the movie. But yesterday, I thought of your lovely garden with its own egg-shaped caccoon. :) Reply Michelle September 29, 2008 at 2:56 pm I was just about to post the same thing as nikkirose. I watched SATC this weekend and thought of you when Carrie was in the egg chair. I do miss some of your house posting as well, but we all go in cycles with these blogs of ours. Reply Dawn Marie September 29, 2008 at 3:41 pm Love the chair. You look fab. Love the dresses, as always! Reply Lulu Mae September 30, 2008 at 10:51 am You are just too cute! Reply Inspired Events October 1, 2008 at 4:49 pm CUTE PHOTO! You look fab in yellow & love the egg chair!! Reply jennie October 1, 2008 at 9:09 pm Great photo! The chair looks so cozy. Perfect to curl up in with a magazine, coffee, and a pastry. Makes me kind of sad too, since I’m starting to realize cold Chicago weather is just around the corner. I’m not ready to say goodbye to colorful summer days! Reply Morgan October 2, 2008 at 3:01 am well of course two others noticed the Sex and The City thing. My boyfriend just brought home the movie and the first thing I thought of when you see carrie in the egg chair in mexico was that I had to get on and let you know…oh well, its still cool. Reply Nina October 2, 2008 at 9:12 am ooh I need one of those for my Flickr Self portrait group… Reply Jerry October 3, 2008 at 12:44 pm Ahhhh, a most eggcellent choice of location for your photo! (Now… which hand was holding the remote? My vote is for the left, but it could lead either way.) I used to try to get shots like this with the timer on my camera, but I ended up with a lot of shots of my derriere. This thing seems to give you a bit more control, and therefore some added insurance that you can get the really good pics. Jerry Reply Michele October 5, 2008 at 2:55 pm Cute, creative and fun. Reply punky November 20, 2008 at 4:43 pm I bought on too…but always forget to use it. Reply greg June 21, 2009 at 10:47 pm nice pic but its a little too basic instinct sharon stone :O Leave a Reply Cancel reply This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. .
