Style Looking for Heeled Oxfords I’m looking for oxfords like the ones I saw on . I’m thinking or could work, but have you seen any other similar shoes lately? I’m not having much luck. Reply Candice March 17, 2010 at 9:51 pm Here’s a heeled Oxford from Modcloth that’s pretty close: …and a flat-heeled wedge just for the heck of it: What do you think? Reply Lila Ferraro March 17, 2010 at 9:53 pm To be honest, I totally like your alternative better! maybe it’s the yellow?! Reply Candice March 17, 2010 at 9:53 pm These aren’t an oxford; but maybe you’ll like them: REALLY small sizes are the only thing left though. Reply kelly March 17, 2010 at 10:11 pm I love the look of the dark ones! But, alas, with my ankles I could not pull them off… Kelly Reply Kristina March 17, 2010 at 10:28 pm That’s so funny! I saw these shoes on her and looked all over the DSW site to no avail. If you find anymore, do share! So presh with tights. :) Reply Making it Lovely March 17, 2010 at 10:30 pm I know, I did the same thing! I came up empty with Google too. Reply Abbie March 17, 2010 at 10:45 pm These are cute… Not exactly what you were looking for, but similar. Everything else I found (that wasn’t already listed here) was crazy expensive. Reply Morgan March 17, 2010 at 11:11 pm Not oxfords, but still way cute and original. Too bad they’re not available at Anthropologie anymore :( Reply Emily March 17, 2010 at 11:16 pm I just got these: only in purple and for half the price! ;) They’re super comfortable and I love the way they look with colored/patterned tights. Reply Making it Lovely March 18, 2010 at 8:54 am I like those a lot! Reply Jmae March 17, 2010 at 11:35 pm I actually own some similar-they are a shiny black though…I think I found them at Ross of all places? Do you have them? they are like TJ Maxx or Marshalls… What size are you? lol Reply Judy March 17, 2010 at 11:57 pm Gah, sold out Reply leslie March 18, 2010 at 12:01 am Those anthropologie oxfords are so CUTE!!! Reply Patricia March 18, 2010 at 12:07 am I instantly remembered this, a bit different, but same idea/feel: Reply Making it Lovely March 18, 2010 at 8:54 am Gorgeous. Reply Brooke March 18, 2010 at 1:22 am I recognized E’s shoes as soon as I saw them! ;) It’s always fun when I realize my favorite blogettes are each other’s. Didn’t she get hers at DSW? Reply Clare March 18, 2010 at 1:53 am I went looking for almost exactly the same shoes a little while ago and come up with nothing – I bought some equally delicious shoes, but not high heeled Oxfords. Reply Catherine March 18, 2010 at 4:19 am How about these? They have ’em in black too but I’ve seen the grey ones in person and they’re my favourites. DP.com do ship to the US so you’re talking about $61 in total. Reply jjzach March 18, 2010 at 6:33 am A friend tweeted these recently: Reply Sealicious March 18, 2010 at 6:41 am I bought these a few months ago (in black) and LOVE them! they are super comfortable and I get compliments every time I wear them! Good luck with your sole search ;) Reply Kristen Wax March 18, 2010 at 8:50 am I got some at a Nine West outlet. They are black. They look cute with some patterned tights and a dress! Reply chrisbean March 18, 2010 at 9:36 am They are absolutely EVERYWHERE right now!! They’ve been a signature piece of mine for years (I have maybe a dozen wing-tip stilettos, oxford maryjane platforms, pointy-toed oxford kitten heels, etc). Jeffrey Campbell almost always has fab comfortable ones for under $100. He’s my go-to. If you want to splurge, Fleuvog is in the $200 range; totally your style. I occasionally internet-window-shop for heeled oxfords at Anthropologie, which is out of my pay bracket. Reply lunule March 18, 2010 at 10:03 am How about John Fluevog? Lots of oxford styles…oh snap…chrisbean had the same thought… Reply The Maiden Metallurgist March 18, 2010 at 10:16 am I can see why you like the dark ones, very cute. Reply Nicole March 18, 2010 at 10:52 am Not exactly what you wanted but…. (My favorite shoe store.) Reply Nicki March 18, 2010 at 11:15 am Hey Nicole! Just got the Steve Madden Harah and while they’re different than what you’re looking for, they’re super comfy. Reply Down and Out Chic March 18, 2010 at 11:32 am my vote is for that third pair. stinking adorable! Reply Nuit March 18, 2010 at 11:41 am OMG Nicole, between the grass, the bike and the shoes… I am drooling! sooo seriously adorable! Reply Vanessa March 18, 2010 at 11:45 am I actually own the shoes you want! I’m sorry to say that I bought them back in November. Good luck on your search!! :) Reply Casey March 18, 2010 at 12:38 pm They beat me to it… ModCloth win! Reply Laura March 18, 2010 at 9:13 pm I purchased these early this march at a clearance store. I like a lot of Corso Como shoes. This style is Carrot. Reply Laura March 18, 2010 at 9:24 pm Also: Sofft shoes are the best quality and comfort! Their shoes even come in widths! Worth every penny!!! Reply bianca March 19, 2010 at 12:12 am I have a pair of brown high heel oxxies (as I call them) and after minutes of wearing them my feet are death…are these comfy? I am in the market for a new pair. Reply zimtzucker March 19, 2010 at 6:30 am i fell in love with Fly London Shoes recently and i think these could work for you: Reply Desiree March 19, 2010 at 10:09 am ok, so not exactly the same, but similar, but yeah, expensive :P Reply CynKain Photography March 19, 2010 at 2:20 pm Wow! cute shoes – have you checked out Anthropologie? Reply Lara March 19, 2010 at 3:36 pm For a less pricey option check out Forever21: I have a pair with a dark grey wooly fabric base and black patent flaps, they were American Eagle for Payless but I can’t find any on the Payless site right now. But F21 makes really cute shoes as long as you won’t be running a marathon in them. Reply Christine March 19, 2010 at 4:23 pm Yep- amazing shoe store here in Canada- Gravity Pope: |185 |185 They may even have more like these. Reply Amanda March 19, 2010 at 4:34 pm I am new to your blog, but I am completely enamored! Kudos for such a lovely, creative piece of the blogosphere! You should visit a shoe website called Seychelles where, although I don’t believe they have something on par with the oxford in question, I think that their type of shoes are dead-on with your tastes! Hope you enjoy. Reply selena March 19, 2010 at 4:51 pm Oh, I remember seeing the DSW ones in person and hesitating. I shouldn’t have! I was going to suggest the Ciao Bella oxfords but someone beat me to it. Looks very close! Does anyone know the “official” name of the seychelles oxfords from anthro? Reply Jennifer March 19, 2010 at 9:07 pm Have you ever heard of Fluevogs? I just heard of them recently – they are designed here in Canada. When I first looked at the website, I thought of you and was intending to send you a link as they have some pretty funky shoes! I thought some of them looked like your style. Didn’t notice any that looked exactly like the ones in your post but have a look anyway. I’d be curious to know whether you like any of them…. They are meant to be fabulously well made and comfortable too. Reply Seraph March 19, 2010 at 9:12 pm I have the Born wedges, in brown–they’re super comfortable, if a little tight in the toebox, and they look amazing on. (as a shoe salesperson whose first language was adorably not English told me, “thises, not look so good on shelf, but thises look so good on feets!”) Reply bea March 19, 2010 at 9:25 pm I like the yellow. I also like the Seychelle ones better. Have you checked They have every kind of shoe known to man on there! Reply Vicki March 20, 2010 at 5:53 am Love the shoes in both colours Reply Mags March 20, 2010 at 12:51 pm If you can work out what size you are in UK sizes, Office do a lot of oxfords and brogues. Just my luck in green Reply Gaia March 20, 2010 at 10:10 pm Hi, I’ve seen alot of them lately here in Australia, especially from the last coupld of collections by Nine West. Here’s one on ASOS – Reply Mattie March 21, 2010 at 8:56 am Hi! I’m a newbie to your blog. These aren’t exactly like you’re looking for but they are $32.99 and I can attest to them. They are super comfortable and last forever if you’re good to them. And here’s another pair that has that two-toned look like the ones in your pictures. $49.99 Reply greengirl March 21, 2010 at 10:23 am Don’t really have a pair of shoes to add, just got all warm and fuzzy remembering Lori’s Shoes (Nicole’s comment) from when I lived in Chicago – bought my wedding shoes there, and many, many other lovely shoes… best shoe store ever. Reply Kathryn Humphreys March 22, 2010 at 9:16 am How about these? Reply Sadhbh March 23, 2010 at 7:32 am Check out: or Plenty of similar styles and schuh deliver to the US! Reply Alison March 23, 2010 at 1:00 pm I bought a great pair of oxfords – black patent leather – at 9 west. I am compimented on them all the time… Reply Lakshmi March 24, 2010 at 11:31 pm I agree with Sealicious. The Born Gellar shoes are great. I have them in brown: Reply Jenni March 27, 2010 at 10:31 am oh! the amazing steve madden oxfords I have are on sale on their website: |womens%20shoes|womens%20oxfords| Reply Erin March 30, 2010 at 6:18 pm Not exactly what you are looking for, I am sure but thought you would like the name. Reply Sayra March 31, 2010 at 4:25 pm They remind me of the Annello & Davide shoes. I had a pair made for me, classic fun pumps when I was in London late 80’s. Check out their site! Reply Lynne, Tea for Joy April 1, 2010 at 2:29 pm Lovely – I always think yellow shoes are a huge winner! Leave a Reply Cancel reply This site uses Akismet to reduce spam. .
