Cloche Lamps

They’re a thing. And they’re not exactly a new thing, but suddenly I’m entranced by them in a way that I wasn’t before — especially the clustered Edison bulb old-timey vaguely steampunky/sciencey versions. (That’s a technical term.)

So functional! You know, rather than displaying, say, . (Which I’m also very much entranced by, yes.)

I’ve been looking at these. thanks for the curated list. Do you know if they get very hot? Worried about little hands touching them.

I was wondering the same thing, to be honest. I think your best bet would be to use LED Edison-style bulbs, because they wouldn’t get as hot. Longer-lasting and more energy-efficient to boot.
