Honor Roll

Honor Roll

I’ve been taking stock of everything around here, planning new projects and evaluating old. Next week will be a full post of our house all bedecked in its Christmas splendor, and a look into upcoming color trends, but today? A collection of what’s been on my mind.

  • Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles. Beautiful .

  • Ta-Nehisi Coates’ outstanding essay.

  • Though I have to disagree on the mild NOOK/Kindle/e-reader hate. OK, as a photographer/observer, people aren’t holding interesting covers for you. But as a reader? I have so many titles in a thin little device! Magic.

  • Loving .

  • Oh, gosh. I want to put And paint the whole thing black while I’m at it.

  • I’ll go ahead and too. Why not?

  • There’s a new display in Rome of , along with fresh analysis of her work.

  • A follow-up from the New York Times on Rahm has been promising more police officers, but we’ve yet to hear much else.

  • A collection of the formerly censored . These were made public in 2006.

  • Sometimes I just click on over to look at vintage rugs. It’s a fun hobby? Good for taking the mind off politics and problems for a bit? I have no place for , but perhaps you do.
